Charge-Sensitive Technique for Deformation Processes’ Study

Surface charge can be used as an information parameter about the change in state of material under action mechanical stresses. The aim work was to develop methods for studying deformation processes metallic and polymeric materials using a charge-sensitive method. Experimental studies tensile, compressive impact loads were carried out on samples various materials: aluminum alloy AMg2 grade, steel grade 08PS, high-pressure polyethylene 12203-250 composite based it, F4 polytetrafluoroethylene. As research method, analysis changes relative values surface electron function case metals electrostatic potential polymers is used. A scanning modification probe measuring instrument. results experimental stress-strain demonstrate high efficiency proposed methodology makes it possible detect local area deformations, which are not detected macroscopic scale standard methods. obtained serve basis development new techniques properties both dielectric materials.
